Show and hide the GRUB Menu on Ubuntu

Filed under: Kubuntu, Ubuntu — tuxicity @ 9:44 am

When Ubuntu boots, you normally briefly see a screen that says “GRUB loading. please wait… Press Esc to enter the menu…” If you are hacking around your system and would prefer to always see the GRUB menu there’s an easy fix.

A little note; instead of vi one can also use gedit (Gnome) or kate (KDE) for editing the menu.list.
