Beautify Gnome in Ubuntu with gnome-art

Filed under: Gnome, Tuxicity, Ubuntu — tuxicity @ 2:49 pm

If you like to change your Gnome background, theme or icons, and don’t feel like hunting them down , gnome-art can do that for you.

It downloads the files for you in a easy to use gui; The download process can take a while, depending on your speed, for example: If you select to download the backgrounds, it grabs over a 1000 backgrounds for you !!

But patience is rewarding, now you can easily select and setup a background from the thumbnails shown.

gnome-art is available in the universe repository;

sudo apt-get install gnome-art

gnome-art project is looking for a new maintainer!
