VLC beyond the basics

Filed under: Tuxicity, Ubuntu — tuxicity @ 1:14 pm

VLC is one of my favorite media players; it plays about anything.

If someone asks on some IRC Linux help channel: “what can I use to play this or that file?” Nine out of ten times you’ll see the answer: “Try VLC”

VLC is available in the universe repositories of Ubuntu:

sudo apt-get install vlc
